La Cañada Internet is incrediblyespeciallyextremely Fast and Friendly!

LCWA Offers lots of Advantages Compared to other Rural Santa Fe County Internet Sources

Fast Speeds, up to 25 Mbps*

We are among the fastest internet providers in rural Santa Fe County. Up to 25 Mbps.

Uploads Are Fast

Most providers have v. slow upload speeds. Ours are 50% to 100% of download speeds.

No Hidden Fees, No Data Limits

You won’t get surprised by any hidden fees. And your speed won’t get cut off after reaching a download volume: no data limits.

We Serve the Hardest-to-Reach Areas in Santa Fe County!

Our main mission is to serve areas of Santa Fe County that no other service providers will consider. From the high hills above Old Santa Fe trail, to the 4WD roads of Cerro Chato, Cerrillos.

No Charge for Basic Install or Support

Our staff and volunteers provide email support at no charge and there is no labor charge if a volunteer installs you. Other fees, like equipment, apply. That said, a paid install is required in some areas or for complicated installs, and we can connect you to the right contractors.

No Annual Commitment

We don’t lock you into a contract. You can quit at any time. But why would you? We have very happy members!

* All speed levels are “up to” levels and speeds can vary throughout day. Like all rural ISPs, the COVID-19 related internet-based video usage spike is causing substantial slow downs during business hours and “Netflix” hours. Speeds are not optimized for video streaming or VOIP; while you can succeed at both of these technologies, note this: you will have better high-definition streaming results with dedicated television content providers like DISH or DirecTV. And LCWA is not a telephone service provider so does not offer 911 or other emergency services. Since we are a radio-based network, we are subject to occasional weather-related outages and we highly recommend you have backup telephone and internet services if such services are critical to your health, well-being, or business continuity. Volunteer installs have free labor, however, volunteers only work on simple and flat roof installs, and might be backed up many weeks. So if you want a faster install or have a more complex install, we will send you to one of our recommended paid contractors. Free volunteer installation includes internet delivery to one Wi-Fi point in your home. Beyond that,  any customizations, internal networks, smart-device hookups, or modifications to home, are up to the home owner to do or arrange separately.
