June LCWA President’s Letter, First in a Series

Dear LCWA Member:

This is the first in what I hope will be a monthly series of letters from me, Dana Simmons, the President of LCWA, providing news about LCWA. As you know, the mission of LCWA is to provide Internet access to rural homeowners around Santa Fe who cannot get access otherwise, and we’ve had so many recent success stories toward that mission that I feel compelled to share them! Also, LCWA runs on its volunteers, so I’ll use this letter as a forum to recruit volunteers, both for one-time projects and for ongoing positions we have.

Enjoy the letter!

Dana

Ideally you are a retired or semi-retired CPA or someone with experience or skills in banking or finance. The Treasurer oversees the financial wellbeing of the organization. Expect to volunteer for about 5 to 10 hours a week. The only requirement to be Treasurer is that you are a member of a LCWA member household.
