Account Number Access Point (AP) Identifier

Using your account number, use this table to look up the LCWA access point (AP) your site connects to for Internet access. This can be useful if LCWA announces that certain AP sites are down or having issues for some reason. In most cases, you’ll only need to know the AP Site Name. In some cases, you’ll want to know the AP Radio Name, too. Both are provided below (in some cases the radio name is not known though). The PPPoE Name is sometimes useful, too, when debugging a site, but it’s rare you’ll need it.

You can find your account number by looking at the monthly invoice/statement you get from LCWA.  You get that statement on the 10th of each month, and it is sent to your primary email address. At the top that statement, the account number is just to the right of your account/owner name. Please don’t contact us asking “what’s my account number;” rather, as a member you are also a volunteer and so take a little of your volunteer time and search your old email for an old invoice. Again, they are sent on the 10th of each month to everyone—to the primary email address we have on file for you—no member is not sent such an email (thanks!).
