Financial Assistance for Internet Service Put in Place
As of January 1, the US government and FCC have launched the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP). This program provides a $30 monthly discount for internet service to families that qualify, mostly based on income. As of March, LCWA is now a participating provider in ACP—that means many of you may be eligible for a discount on your LCWA monthly bill if you meet the requirements.
Enrolling is a 2-step process:
- First, you must apply on the dedicated FCC website, and
- Second, you must contact LCWA with your enrollment information to begin receiving the discount.
