Volunteers May Be Needed to Improve your Neighborhood’s Infrastructure

LCWA is run and operated mostly by volunteers. So, to help us upgrade the LCWA internet infrastructure in yours or adjoining neighborhoods, (to help deploy the new speed boost project), we will likely need volunteers. The biggest need is for folks willing and able to:

  1. Work with other members to access their roof-mount radios to adjust their aim.
  2. Learn how to use the Ubiquiti aiming tools.
  3. Be comfortable accessing flat or slightly sloped roofs.  Know limits and get help for steeper roofs, taller poles etc. etc.

If you would like to offer to volunteer, please send an email to Rob Hausman at vicepresident@lcwireless.net. Rob is coordinating the infrastructure upgrade project and will help figure out how you can help.
