Should I Upgrade my Speed?
We get this question a lot, should I upgrade my LCWA speed subscription level ?
Here is our recommendation for what speed levels to use:
- Basic: Up to 15 Mbps: simple web browsing and email
- Medium: Up to 25 Mbps: same as above plus moderate streaming video one TV; or VOIP (Skype)
- Advanced: Up to 50 Mbps: heavy streaming video such as on multiple TV’s or 4K streaming video on one TV
All those speed levels are “up to” levels. As with most internet provides, LCWA internet speeds vary throughout the day due to changes in the internet we receive from our bulk supplier. Shown above are the maximum speeds you are likely to get, and average speeds will be less.

No, sorry Agni, 20 Mbps still the max.
