Here is our recommendation for what speed levels to use:

  • 7 Mbps: simple web browsing and email
  • 12 Mbps: same as above plus moderate streaming video one TV; or VOIP (Skype)
  • 25 Mbps: heavy streaming video such as on multiple TV’s or 4K streaming video on one TV
