Volunteer Opportunity: 1-800 Support Line Coordinators
As you may know, LCWA has a 1-800 number that members call if they are experiencing issues with their LCWA Internet access. We need a volunteer to help manage that number.
Specifically, you will monitor and listen to the recorded incoming support calls one or two days a week and summarize them for our technical volunteer staff.
You can do this from your home and this will only require a few hours a month. You do not need to be technically oriented (though it helps)! You primarily need to have a good rapport with people and a clear phone voice. You’ll meet a lot of interesting people and receive a lot of positive attention!
